Sample Letter to Introduce New Employee to Clients

By | February 20, 2014

New employees are usually quite nervous about their first day at work.

There is so much to learn and so many people to get to know that it can get very uncomfortable for them to start work on a first day.

Icebreakers are becoming popular nowadays with many employers choosing to introduce new employees to existing ones and clients in order to make everyone comfortable.

Many employers prefer to introduce new employees to clients directly. However, in the event that a company does not host clients at the premises, employers need to write letters to introduce them.

This activity does not only introduce a new employee but also provides clients with valuable information on what an employee’s professional background comprises of.

This is especially beneficial in organizations such as banks and brokerage houses where clients are in constant touch with employees.

When writing a letter of introduction for a new employee, it is important to exercise tact.

Many clients will be understandably wary of new people to interact with but with a careful introduction, their uneasiness can be put to ease.

Have a look at the following sample of introduction letter that will help you decide what you need to write when you issue a similar letter to your client.

Dear Mr. Hemingway:

We would like to introduce Robert Kale as the newest member of our trading team at Sears Holdings. Mr. Kale has officially joined us as a Trader and will be handling most of our key accounts including yours from the next work week.

Mr. Kale has shown tremendous potential in handling trading accounts on the New York Stock Exchange in his previous position where he was responsible for much of the financial success of the clients he was handling. Our main reason for assigning him to your account especially is due to his success with trading in the manner that is particular to your account. We figure that he will be very successful in guiding you and working with you to handle your trading account with delivery-based stocks.

We have received excellent references from Mr. Kale’s previous employers and are confident that he will be an asset to both our company and clients. Please feel free to contact us for any questions that you may have regarding this change and we will be happy to assist you.
