The holidays are here and you would like one of your friends or family members to come and visit you. Everything was planned ahead and you are now looking into details of how to bring your friend or family member to visit you. What is the next step? Why is this important? Embassies in any country are interested in knowing why a certain individual is entering their country. This is important for them to do this so that illegal immigrants and terrorists are kept at bay. So they delve into why anyone would want to come to their country. If you are inviting someone over, it is your job to satisfy the authorities that your friend will not become a burden on the state. And will go back to his own country once the visa tenure is over.
Here is what you do. You write to the visa officer at the embassy and provide him or her with details of the person you are inviting. This includes his or her name, date of birth, address and contact information. You also provide a reason for the person wanting to come to the country. Additionally, you need to provide information of your own status in the country and other details such as full name and contact information.
