Workshop Acceptance Letter Sample

By | February 11, 2015

Attending workshops related to our field of work is a great way of learning new things and being acquainted with novel concepts. But workshops are difficult to come by and if you are holding one, you will have to carefully screen out who gets to attend them and who needs to be declined the opportunity.

It is actually up to the person or the committee arranging a workshop to decide what type of people attend it – people who will actually benefit from it. An applicant’s academic background, personal interest and work experience largely decides if he will be accepted for a workshop or not. Once you have decided on the participants of a workshop, it is time to write them an acceptance letter to let them know that they have been chosen.

A workshop acceptance letter will provide general information on what the workshop is about and why a particular person has been chosen to attend it. There may be some information regarding workshop fees (if the workshop is not a free one) and timelines during which it will be held. You may also need to ask the participant to provide an RSVP so that you know how many participants will actually attend the workshop.

Before you begin writing a workshop acceptance letter, have a look at the sample below:

Dear Ms. Teal:

Thank you for showing interest in attending the World Global Education Systems Workshop. This is to inform you that you have been selected to attend this free workshop, based on your academic profile and your vast experience in education.

The World Global Education Systems Workshop will be held in Cleveland, TN at the end of March 2015. The actual venue, date and time will be informed to you in a separate letter as soon as all logistics are sorted out. I have enclosed the agenda of this workshop with this letter along with a separate document that details our expectations from all the participants. Since you will be mingling with gurus of the academic world, we suggest that you keep your bevy of questions prepared as the Q&A session will be highly informative.

Please note that all travel and boarding arrangements are to be made by the participant – we can suggest possible places to stay in Cleveland but we are limited beyond this. Please feel free to contact me at (444) 444-4444 if you have any questions.
