Christmas Letter from Teacher to Students – Sample 2

By | December 14, 2014

At the end of the year, there are at least two things that make the entire year worthwhile despite its adversities – Christmas and New Year! Since Christmas is such a festive time, many letters and cards do the rounds during this period.

Teachers write Christmas letters to their students to extend wishes for the holidays. These letters are usually written in a standard format – one letter to all students – so that a personal touch is added along with making sure that they keep within the parameters of a student – teacher relationship.

Christmas letters from teachers to students can work wonders for their relationships as well; they bring both parties closer and provide them with a chance to connect on a somewhat personal level as well. These letters also serve as reminders about homework, back to school activities or any other information that the teacher may want to edict. However, it is not proper to write any of these in too much detail as it will kill the purpose of a Christmas letter.

Christmas Letter from Teacher to Students

December 13, 2014

Dear Students:

Christmas is only twelve days away so I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. I hope that the holidays will be full of fun for all of you and that you are able to take out some time to indulge in activities that decree the true meaning of this wonderful time.

Harvard Walters School System has decided to hold a Christmas rally on December 20, 2014 to raise money for the charity that it supports – May Walters’ Children. I encourage all of you to participate in this to raise money for May Walters’ Children so that the true spirit of Christmas can be felt by each one of you. While it is not compulsory for all of you to participate, your participation will make a huge difference in the lives of children who do not have the benefit of education or even celebrating Christmas with their loved ones.

Please contact the school office for any information that you may need regarding signing up for this rally. I hope that the New Year brings you and your family happiness and prosperity and that you return to school on January 15, 2015 with a heightened will of performing well in the next academic term.

Sincerely,

Patricia Cole
