Happy New Year Letter to an Apartment Community

By | December 22, 2016

You just finished sending all the Christmas cards and letters and now, New Year’s is approaching and you’re tired. We understand, the only downside to this wonderful Holiday season is that there’s so much to do, so little time.

Never fear! You have this article to help you write a New Year’s letter to the residents in your building. This is something that will really make them happy; a communal letter to bring everyone together in the spirit of this new year. Not only is it such a nice thing, it is a nice opportunity to announce any policies of the new year, or the rent increment.

The trick is to keep the letter general so that you can send it to all the residents, and you would just need to make little changes to it instead of writing individual residents. But there’s no reason you can’t write different letters for families, single people and elderly residents, if you have the time.

Happy New Year

Dear Residents:

It is my pleasure to wish you and your families a very Happy New Year on behalf of the building owner, Mr. Mark Parkwell, all the building employees and myself, the manager. I would like to wish all of you luck and happiness in the New Year.

I’ve noticed that over half of the residents have just taken membership in the building’s gym, that’s very pleasing news. I hope you stick to your New Year resolutions, as I have never been able to myself. Perhaps you may even see me there, as you know summer bodies are made in the winter and spring.

I would like to take this opportunity to inform you all of the new policy, which now allows pets, but only in the apartments of the residents, and they’re not allowed in any area shared between the residents, including the gym, pool, café, lobby or hallway. This should please all our animal loving residents and for them this is a happy new year indeed.

I hope that all the bad blood will wash away between all residents, management, and crew, in the spirit of this New Year. Let’s take this opportunity to have a fresh start, and bring peace and prosperity to this building’s community.

The New Year is a blank page and the pens are in your hands, write something beautiful.

Sincerely,
