Thanksgiving Letter to Teacher from Parents

By | June 13, 2019

It is always a good idea to write letters to your children’s teachers to greet them on holidays such as Thanksgiving.

This way, you can come close to them and show them exactly what they mean to you and the children.

Writing a compelling Thanksgiving letter requires one first to know who the teacher is.

Since you have to address the teacher directly, it is essential to know her name. If you want to write to more than one teacher, you should, of course, address to them directly.

In your letter, focus on the holiday of Thanksgiving and how much you appreciate it. Since it is a day of appreciation of what God has given to His people, it has to be quite well written.

Thanksgiving Letter to Teacher from Parents

Dear Mrs. Lockheed:

We would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. It is a holiday that we cherish much, and celebrate with great fervor in our family.

You have been Brian’s teacher for the last 4 years, and we have to admit that he hasn’t had a better one. Since you have been so kind and understanding, even during his most difficult years, we would like to say a little thank you for all that you have done for him.

During the Thanksgiving holiday, we plan to get family together for a customary meal at our house. If it is not against protocol, we would love to have you with us.

In fact, Brian especially asked that you join us for the feast, and the celebrations afterward. It is also a tradition at our place to bake several turkeys and offer them to the poor during the holidays, a tradition that Brian absolutely loves. If you are to join us, we are sure that you will see a side of your student that you may not have imagined before.

Once again, we would like to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving and hope that the holidays are fun for you. We look forward to seeing you at the beginning of the school year – and hopefully earlier too.

Sincerely,

Mr. and Mrs. Brosnon
