Employee Introduction Email to Clients

By | January 15, 2015

Clients are usually quite wary of new employees who are assigned to handle their work – and rightly so. This is especially true of the service industry where clients depend on older employees’ knowledge and experience to get their work done. However, a new employee does not necessarily mean that a lack of knowledge or experience will be imminent. But clients do not know this and it is the duty of the company to make sure that they do by introducing the new employee to them.

Writing an introduction email to clients is the most effective way of introducing a new employee. Emails reach clients in real time so there are no time delay issues. An introduction email will be written to all the clients in general or a specific group of clients who were being catered to by an older employee. You should introduce the employee by providing clients with his / her name, designation and what specific duties (concerning the clients) he / she will perform. In your email, you need to ensure that clients see this change as a positive one so make sure that your tone is upbeat and optimistic.

Your introduction email should not only contain information about the new employee but also how he / she can be reached and what they have done in the past which is relevant to their work. Have a look at the following email sample:

Subject: New Employee Introduction

Dear Clients:

We take this opportunity to thank you for your unwavering patronage over the years without which Global Securities would not have been as successful as it is now. Owing to a slight shift in hierarchy this month, we would like to inform you that your trading account will now be handled by Mr. Russell Worthington who has 8 years of stock market trading experience in his hand.

Mr. Worthington has recently joined Global Securities and has been through rigorous training to familiarize himself with the workings of the company. As far as trading methods and procedures are concerned, he is a professional as you will find out once you have performed trading activities through him. Mr. Worthington has been provided with your account information and trading style but if you would like to speak to him personally, we are holding a Q&A session in the office meeting room at 5 pm this Saturday and you are welcome to participate.

Please feel free to contact us at our office numbers if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Hamlet Logan
