A reference letter completes your babysitting job application documents set.
If you have one in your possession, chances of you acquiring a new babysitter job double as new employers like to know how well you have performed previously.
This letter should be favorable and written intending to helping a babysitter obtain new employment.
After all, the prospective employer will leave their children under the supervision of someone else – so they need to that she is reliable!
A babysitter reference letter needs to hold information on how well the person plays a role in a child’s life.
Content could include personal attributes and even some specific details on her dedication to her work.
If you look at the reference letter sample below, you will be able to give your babysitter a good reference letter.
Sample Reference Letter for Babysitter

To Whom It May Concern
I am writing this reference letter for Anna Brown as a Babysitter who cared for my five years old son as a babysitter. Anna has shown tremendous patience with my son’s temper tantrums and diapers over the four years – a virtue that most babysitters do not possess.
During the time Anna worked for me, I did not worry about anything. My son was well taken care of, my house was kept clean (a job that most of us working women dread doing) and I had the peace of mind that I cannot imagine with another babysitter. She took exceptional care of my son’s eating habits as he was a fussy eater and even managed to make him eat (and like) broccoli!
Since my son is now old enough to manage on his own, Anna believes that she needs to move on. While both my son and I will miss her terribly as she has been a part of our family, we agree that she needs to do what she does best, i.e., look after little children and help them grow up to be fine young people.
Owing to her dedication and eagerness to work with children, Anna will be a great asset to any family that she will work for. I wish her the best of luck in the future. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need more information about Anna and her work.
